BDSF national ranking system
Athletes with the highest total score based on the following internal ranking system, which considers the 3 best results from the nominated battles, effectively organized up to 52 weeks prior to the moment of selection for the selection battle. BDSF reserves the right to add selection battles throughout the year.
Rank | 3 star | 2 star | 1 star |
Winner | 500 | 300 | 100 |
Runner-up | 350 | 210 | 70 |

Top 16 | 120 | 72 | 24 |
Top 32 | 85 | 50 | 17 |
Top 64 | 60 | 35 | 12 |
- A result remains valid for 1 year (52 weeks);
- A result is only considered if the dancer wins 1 battle or advances through 1 preselection or qualification round;
- Participation alone in the preselection or qualification does not earn any points;
- If fewer than 3 nominated battles were organized in the previous selection period, the total score will be based on the number of nominated battles actually organized.

Moment of selection
BDSF will follow WDSF in their approach to choosing the timing of the selection. The selection date is the 1st day of the month preceding the selection battle. At this point, BDSF will select the breakers according to the procedure mentioned above.
For example: if the selection battle starts on February 20, the selection date will be January 1.
In exceptional cases, the selection date may differ. This will be announced in advance by WDSF and/or BDSF.
