Unbreakable 2024 transforms Leuven into the breaking capital with a spectacular 3-day cultural festival
05/07/2024

During the last weekend of September, the best breakers will flock to the Ladeuzeplein in Leuven for a 3-day breaking cultural festival. This edition promises to be even more spectacular than previous years!

After a hiatus with the Lotto WDSF World Breaking Championship in 2023, a preliminary round for the Olympic Games, the organization can now fully focus on the breaking culture for this edition. They are doing this with not one, not two, but three days full of breaking spectacle. Unbreakable is back like never before, in the familiar format but bigger than ever!

On Friday, the eve of the competition, international participants will be welcomed by Leuven's own breaking scene during a “pre-jam”. Here, moves can be exchanged in a friendly atmosphere, with the evening concluding with the Unbreakable pre-party (link TBA).

On Saturday, September 28th, the international competition truly kicks off. 400 b-boys and b-girls will compete in a qualifying round for a spot in the top 32. At the same time, the next generation will be going all out during the 1on1 kids battle at Museum M. In the evening, at 6:00 PM, the top 32 knockout round begins and the real battle for the Unbreakable 2024 trophy starts. With an incredible atmosphere, cultural connection, and awesome beats from the DJs, a true hip-hop enthusiast couldn't imagine a better Saturday night.

On Sunday, the weekend wraps up by returning to the roots. Crews will compete for the crew battle trophy and footwork masters can participate in the footwork battle; a genre of moves unique to breaking, without any other origin.

The festival is completely free and accessible to all ages!
